Service was amazing! Was attended by an awesome bartender who was able to recommend some great drinks while we waited for the food. The food was amazing! Definitely recommend the gnocchi with creamy pesto! The pizza was amazing, so good!! The place is beautiful and has a very relaxed vibe. Definitely going back!

True Montanara pizzas from Naples, Italy, are baked in a brick oven after they are quick fried. This baking allows for the pizza crust to rise and lighten up after being fried. Using instead a gas flame thrower to finish it results in a dense crust that stays with you for hours. Not a smart shortcut. The loud blast sound of this torch also becomes annoying after the novelty wears off. You would expect this technique to be quick, but the order took over half an hour to arrive on a nearly empty afternoon.

Ingredients were fresh and generous, but you pay for each individual ingredient resulting in a very pricey pie. Service was adequate, but not particularly diligent. The decor is more American than Italian adding to the heavy pizza experience.

Frankly, a good idea poorly thought out and marginally performed. I like the concept, and hope the owners will make some changes.

If you enjoy waiting an ETERNITY for pizza that's on par with Digiorno, this place might be for you.

The bartender did everything possible to evade speaking to us, so getting a drink while
we waited was also a challenge. Not only was the wait long (45-60+ min on what seemed to be a slow night), but the delay was only amplified by the sound of every other pizza being prepared by what I can only assume was a hot-air balloon torch. The sound consistently took over the space, briefly drowning out the music and any conversation.

The best part about our experience was the fried provolone. That was delicious.

Overall - If you're looking for mediocre pizza (albeit there is a novelty to it) that costs too much, this place is perfect. Otherwise save your money and go to the dominos next door.

So good!! The employees are so nice and the place is very clean and well organized. I love the food too, the calamari and pizzas were delicious. Will definitely come back, if I'm ever in the area again. Thank you so much!!

Very disappointing. The concept is interesting, restaurant decor adds to a trendy vibe, however the PIZZA is comparable to a fancy Pizza Hut. Having lived in Ny for most of my life and spending many vacations in Italy, this is expensive Pizza Hut quality pizza. We added garlic to add as a topping, and it was simply garlic infused olive oil.The charge was $3.00 for the olive oil. We also requested basil as a topping and they did not have it available. An "Italian" restaurant  without basil just seems impossible. There are many restaurants on Calle Loiza to experience and spend your money. Truly disappointed.
